Biography

Evansson is a sometime alias of producer Steve Evans. Steve has run his own studios since 1988 in South West England and is currently putting the last decorative touches to a new high-spec mix room and some amazing live recording spaces in a 1960’s concrete brewery building in Wiltshire.

As well as making many records with a wide range of artists from all corners of the industry Steve has made his own records with projects signed to MCA, Wall Of Sound and more recently Island.

As Western Disco Steve is releasing House / NuDisco records with Time SPA Italy and remixing underground dance tracks into radio hits (The Sun by western disco, Follow The Sun by Xavier Rudd, Out Of My Head by Selkuk Usul feat Josh Moreland).

In addition Steve’s production music company That But Not That has achieved a steady stream of high profile successes with TV advertising camapaigns (Travelodge, Danone, B&Q, O2, Skoda, American Egg Board).
